Nag Ashwin

’s directorial venture ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ was released in theaters on June 27, and the film has almost crossed Rs 700 crores worldwide within a week of its release. The director recently revealed that

Prabhas

wished to get kicked by

Amitabh Bachchan

’s character in the movie more.
Nag Ashwin told Pinkvilla that Prabhas was always supportive during the making of the movie.

The movie had a major focus on Amitabh Bachchan and

Deepika

in significant scenes, and Nag Ashwin addressed whether Prabhas had issues with this or not. He was responding to a question about how Prabhas reacted to his

screen presence

in the film during the pre-production discussions. Ashwin does not think they had those sorts of discussions. For a star of his stature, Prabhas has very few issues about things like this. He is fully for the story. He has been very supportive after listening to and approving the script. He has been fully onboard.

Nag Ashwin further added that, in retrospect, it was a big deal for a mainstream actor to get hit by another actor in a world where all these heroes are untouchable. Prabhas wanted to get hit by Amitabh Bachchan and he used to tell Big B, ‘Sir, hold me tighter.’

Nag Ashwin promised a

sequel

to ‘Kalki 2898 AD’. In the next part, Prabhas will have a face-off with

Kamal Haasan

.
