Janhvi Kapoor
is currently awaiting the release of her next ‘Mr & Mrs Mahi’ which also stars
Rajkummar Rao
in the lead role. Janhvi Kapoor recently opened up about how
doctors
had advised her to not play cricket post the
injury
she had on the sets of her upcoming film.
Janhvi underwent rigorous training and the intense cricket practice caused her to dislocate her shoulder twice.
Talking to Bollywood Bubble, Janhvi revealed that the doctor had advised her to not play cricket. She stated that when she dislocated her shoulder for the first time, she thought it might be a fluke or she was overworked. But the second time around, when she had the second dislocation, nearly three months after the first, she consulted a shoulder specialist. She revealed that the specialist told her that she had multi-directional instability which meant that she was the worst candidate for cricket. The specialist even advised Janhvi that she shouldn’t be playing cricket all her life because she is very susceptible to dislocations.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to get operated for her wrist injury soon: Report
Janhvi recalled that despite the injuries she had to train, however, she had a strategy. Every time they had to train to play cricket, Jahvi taped up her shoulders to keep it in place. “I had a cap of about 60 balls but we ended up reaching 100 balls a day. I could not even play with a season ball so the team had even changed to a machine ball,” she recalled.
