In a chat with Mashable India, she said that she wanted to do it as a
summer job
, which she would drop to go back to campus, but she honestly fell in love with it and could not leave.
At that age, the schedule used to be operated with only 3-4 hours of sleep, but she liked it so much. While all other actors were juggling different shows at the same time, Mouni was just doing this one show for the longest time. She started enjoying her work. Even if she felt tired and sick, she would choose to go to shoot.
Mouni recalled her first
remuneration
for ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’. She stated it was Rs 1.5 lakh. She also did a lot of double shifts, working extra hours in a day, so she would have worked for almost 40 12-hour shifts at the end of the month.
