During an interview with Siddharth Kannan, the actor recounted her journey through three audition rounds for the ad, nearly securing the role. However, her plans were derailed when she developed forehead pimples just before the shoot, resulting in her being sent home and ultimately losing the opportunity.
During the interview, Mannara recounted her journey to securing the offer after multiple auditions.
She explained how she initially auditioned for the ad, passed the first and second rounds, and was then called in again for a final review before the shoot. Despite being among the last contenders for selection, she was called back and ultimately chosen.

Continuing her narrative, Mannara revealed the unfortunate turn of events after being selected. She described how she woke up to find pimples on her forehead the morning of the shoot at Madh Island. Despite attempts to conceal them with makeup, it proved unsuccessful, leading to her dismissal from the set. This experience left her deeply disheartened, marking her first significant rejection. Despite some individuals’ reluctance towards fairness products, she admitted her genuine desire to be a part of it. Recalling her emotional reaction upon returning home, she candidly admitted to shedding tears over what she perceived as a setback caused by unexpected pimples.
