being offered her role, Koirala responded, “I believe so. She mentioned that 18-20 years ago, she was offered this role.” She further revealed her admiration for the senior actress.

The actress from ‘Heeramandi’ also mentioned that after witnessing her performance as Mallika Jaan in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s show, Rekha Ji reached out the following day.

She expressed her delight, mentioning that she had hoped for someone like her to take on the role.
