As Malavika continues to be a part of South projects, she is also keen on making a mark in the Bollywood industry. While she made her Hindi theatrical debut with the Siddhant Chaturvedi starrer action thriller Yudhra, Malavika is now keen on exploring the rom-com genre and has decided to sign one of the projects in that genre. Source from the industry reveals, “With the rising demand for South actresses in Bollywood, Malavika Mohanan has been signed for a big-banner project as they are producing a rom-com. While the details remain under wraps, her association with yet another major film reinforces her strong presence across industries.”
Speaking of her career in the South film industry, Malavika Mohanan made her Tamil debut with the Chiyaan Vikram starrer Thangalaan last year and she was showered with appreciation for her intense performances. Up next, she has the highly-anticipated Prabhas starrer The Raja Saab, a horror comedy featuring the megastar in dual roles and adding to this impressive lineup is the film Hridayapoorvam with Malayalam superstar Mohanlal, for which the actress has already kicked off its shoot schedule. Along with these, she also has Sardar 2 with none other than Karthi in the pipeline for release.
