It’s all new here as RCB have got a new captain for IPL 2025. Yes, that’s correct – Rajat Patidar is going to lead the camp this time. There was a lot of speculation in the past about who would take the role, with many expecting Virat Kohli to return as captain. However, in a recently held press conference, the RCB management announced Patidar as the captain. But do you know who have been the captains of RCB over the years? RCB captains overs the years
Indian icon Rahul Dravid captained the RCB team as they started their IPL campaign. In 14 games, he only managed to record 4 victories. The following year, Kevin Pietersen, a former English captain, assumed leadership. Only two of the six games he captained the team for were victories.
Next, Anil Kumble became leadership of the Bengaluru team. As the team’s captain for 35 games, he led the squad to 19 victories with a win percentage of 54.28, the greatest of any RCB captain. Daniel Vettori led the team for 28 games as well, scoring 15 runs during that time.
Virat Kholi also took the resposibility of captaining the team, he has won 66 matches with a win percentage of 46.15. The current skipper Faf du Plessis has a win percentage of 50 with 21 win and 21 losses.
