Blair Tickner and his wife got married in 2022. They have a nine-month-old daughter.
Black Caps bowler Blair Tickner revealed via a social media post that his wife has been diagnosed with leukemia. The Central Districts star, who is currently playing county cricket for Derbyshire, is receiving treatment in England.
“Life has dealt us a really bad hand this time. This strong and beautiful woman will get through any challenge. Sarah has recently been diagnosed with Leukemia and is undergoing treatment in the UK until she is in remission,” the Black Cap posted.
“We have no doubt she will get through this and we can have the family back together. Thanks to all our friends & family for all the love, support & positivity.”
Florence, their nine-month-old daughter, is the couple’s child. They got married in 2022. Additionally, they are in charge of the Hastings 13th Stag cafe.

Tickner, 30, made his test debut against England last year while Cyclone Gabrielle was wreaking havoc on his home province. He has made 34 appearances for New Zealand so far.
He played his most recent match for the Blackcaps in May of last year, a one-day international in Pakistan. In the English county championship match against Sussex, he took 1/49 with the ball and scored 47 runs off 48 balls for Derbyshire overnight.
