To mark poet Kuvempu’s birth anniversary Department of Kannada and Culture and Kuvempu Bhasha Bharathi Pradhikara is organising a special lecture on “Mathe Mathe Kuvempu” on Friday (January 3, 2025). Writer and literary critic Rahamath Tarikere will deliver the lecture.

The programme will be held at Kuvempu Bhasha Bharathi Pradhikara premises, Mallathahalli, Kalagrama at 5 p.m.
Rahamath Tarikere retired as professor in the Department of Kannada Literature Studies, Kannada University, Hampi. He has published books on Muharram, Sufism, Nathism, Shaktism and other mystic traditions of India and Karnataka.
