has emerged as one of the most successful actresses, who has proved her mettle in the industry with her versatility and acting prowess. The ‘Mimi’ fame actress recently opened up about her personal life and the relationship she shares with her family.

career decisions

“I would definitely say I am privileged. I have come from a middle-class family but it’s not like I ever felt the need to work because I had to earn. I have a joint account with my father. I have no idea how much money is coming in and going out,” Kriti said.
As an outsider in the Hindi film industry, Kriti expressed her desire to seek peace and validation from Bollywood. She reflected on phases of not knowing what to do. She also expressed that her film choices were often based on if she felt good on the set or if she was merely “floating.”
Kriti further revealed that while she has been part of big-budget projects with star-studded casts, not all of them turned out successful. Without disclosing specific film names, she mentioned that excitement was lacking during some of those projects.
Kriti once expressed frustration due to a lack of promising opportunities in her career in a chat with Pinkvilla. During that phase, she felt restless and believed she had more potential beyond her onscreen portrayals. “I know I can do it; I know I can kill it, but I don’t have it in front of me,” she shared.

Kriti made her debut with ‘Heropanti’ in 2014 alongside Tiger Shroff. Her filmography includes notable titles like ‘Luka Chuppi’, ‘Raabta’, ‘Panipat’, ‘Bachchhan Paandey’, ‘Heropanti 2’, ‘Bhediya’, and ‘Shehzada’. Recently, she starred in ‘Crew’ alongside Kareena Kapoor and Tabu. Before that, she played the lead opposite Shahid Kapoor in ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’.
Now, Kriti is gearing up for her upcoming film, ‘Do Patti’, where she reunites with her ‘Dilwale’ co-star Kajol. Notably, this project marks her debut as a producer, collaborating with screenwriter Kanika Dhillon.
