Four suspected terrorists have been reportedly arrested from the Ahmedabad airport ahead of the Qualifier 1 between KKR and SRH. As per a TOI report, the security measures have been increased ahead of the game that will be held in the Narendra Modi stadium. Security presence, both inside and outside the stadium, have been heightened.
Over 3000 personnel will be on duty during the match, which includes 5 DCPs and 10 ACPs. 800 private security guards will also be a part of the detail, the report added. Further, a police convoy will be present at the stadium to prevent any untoward incidents. Police officials added that the arrest o f the four individuals has prompted the law enforcement agencies to be more vigilant, especially with fans entering the stadium.
