Dominant Performance for KKR and Harshit
Harshit Rana played a pivotal role in KKR’s comprehensive 98-run victory. He broke the crucial second-wicket partnership between KL Rahul and Marcus Stoinis, and went on to claim two more scalps, finishing with figures of 3/24 in his 3.1 overs.

Harshit Rana: Dream of Playing for India Cricket Team
While excelling for KKR, Harshit Rana’s ultimate goal is clear: representing India on the international stage. “As a cricketer I am looking forward to only one thing and that is playing for India,” he stated.
“But for any franchise that I play either KKR or someone else or even for my state, my focus is only on the day that I am playing the cricket/match,” he stated.
However, he emphasizes his commitment to delivering his best performance for whichever team he represents, maintaining focus on the task at hand.
Harshit Rana learning from Gautam Gambhir
Harshit Rana acknowledges the valuable guidance he has received from KKR mentor Gautam Gambhir, a two-time IPL-winning captain. “The whole season, we have paid much attention to how Gautam Gambhir tells us to play cricket and apply those strategies. Because he knows very well how to turn game in our favour. As a bowler Gambhir advised us to hit good lengths according to the surface,“ Rana said.
He credits Gambhir’s experience and tactical insights for KKR’s success this season.
