Kangana Ranaut recently took to her Instagram story to share a post from a fan page, recalling a memorable moment when the actress Rekha praised her. Rekha had once expressed that if she had a daughter, she would have been just like Kangana.
At the 2019 Marathi Taraka event, Rekha referred to Kangana as her daughter. At the occasion, Kangana was seen wearing a black and gold sari gifted to her by the veteran actress.
Rekha expressed her deep admiration and affection for Ranaut and remarked that if she had a daughter, she would have been just like Kangana.
Responding to this past compliment, Kangana captioned the post with, “greatest compliment ever.”
Kangana has also previously expressed her respect for Rekha. Last October, on Rekha’s birthday, Ranaut shared a photo of her with the actress on her Instagram story and penned a heart note, “Happy birthday to my godmother dear Rekha Ji… the epitome of grace, elegance and beauty.”
