Jigra
was a significant milestone in his career. Despite the film not performing as expected in theaters, Yuvraj’s experience working on the project was nothing short of incredible. “It was an incredible experience being on set for the first time, surrounded by such immense talent and creativity,” he recalls.
“The opportunity to perform alongside such experienced actors was a chance to learn, grow, and push my boundaries. The Jigra journey has truly been a milestone in my growth.”
One of the most memorable aspects of the shoot for Yuvraj were the action sequences. “Every single day on set was memorable for me, especially since it was my first project,” he says. “The process often felt like a revelation, showing me the intricacies of how everything comes together. But what truly stands out for me are the action sequences. It was an entirely new experience—performing stunts and fight scenes I’d never done before, and I would love to do it again.”
While Jigra may not have achieved the desired success in theaters, Yuvraj’s focus on the process rather than the outcome helped him stay grounded. “I try not to focus too much on the outcome of anything I do,” he explains. “With Jigra too, what stands out to me is the dedication and hard work of the entire cast and crew. Every day on set, we gave it our all, pushing our limits to make something meaningful. That’s the true win—knowing that we all gave our best and created something great together.”
Yuvraj’s experience working on Jigra also gave him the opportunity to form connections with his co-stars, including Alia and Vedang. “The last I met her was on the screening of Jigra,” he says of Alia. “But I do keep running into Vedang at the gym. It’s always great catching up with him, and these chance encounters are a nice way to connect outside of the usual work environment.”
Interestingly, despite the initial lukewarm response to the film, Jigra has developed a newfound appreciation over time. Yuvraj is thrilled to see audiences enjoying the movie, and he believes that this appreciation is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the entire cast and crew. “I’m really thrilled to see that people are enjoying the movie,” he says. “As I mentioned before, we put our heart and soul into making it, and knowing that audiences appreciate our efforts just makes the experience even more fulfilling.”
