Isha Ambani
often finds herself thinking about her children, even when she’s working. As a mother to
twins
Aadiyashakti and Krishna, she’s always considering their well-being. Whether she’s planning long-term business strategies, making sure she and her husband
Anand Piramal
are home in time to put them to bed, or scheduling playtime, her kids are always on her mind.
For many, becoming a parent brings out a playful side that can get lost in adulthood. However, Isha’s experience has been different. “I’m always thinking about my two little babies and hoping they’re okay,” she told Vogue. Her worries range from “Am I doing the right thing?” to “Is it okay that we don’t have blackout curtains?” and everything in between.
To handle these worries, many women turn to their mothers for advice. For Isha, her bond with her mother,
Nita Ambani
, has grown stronger since she started her own journey of
motherhood
through
IVF
, just like her mother did with her and her brother Akash.

“I’m very quick to say that my twins were conceived via IVF because that’s how we’ll normalize it,” she says, hoping that talking about it openly will make it less taboo. “Nobody should feel isolated or ashamed. It’s a difficult process. When you’re going through it, you’re physically exhausted.”
In India,
celebrity pregnancies
are often closely watched and debated publicly. This scrutiny reinforces outdated ideas about
fertility
as the ultimate marker of femininity and explains why many women still undergo IVF cycles in secret. “If there is
modern technology
in the world today, why not use it to have children?” Isha asks. “It should be something you’re excited about, not something you should have to hide. If you can find support groups or other women to talk to, the process can feel much easier,” she concluded.
