IPL x NFL: A meet up of Giants! BCCI’s Jay Shah visits NFL headquarters in New York to discuss best practices in sports
The meet of the heavyweights. IPL (Indian Premier League) continues to be the heavyweight amongst International T20 leagues. On the other hand, NFL (National Football League) is among the biggest leagues in the world. After the crucial IND vs PAK clash in ICC T20 World Cup, BCCI secretary Jay Shah paid a visit to the NFL headquarters un New York.
Jay Shah went on to meet the Commissioner of NFL, Mr. Roger Goodell. Both the parties went on to have meetings where both the parties went on to discuss and share ideas about different topics. While the IPL continues to be the most popular league in India, American Football or NFL is arguably the biggest and most followed league in America.
BCCI Secretary Jay Shah was present yesterday in New York to witness an epic encounter between India vs Pakistan clash. While India emerged victorious, the Men in Blue had to work hard to achieve a thrilling 6-run victory over their arch rivals.
And the following day, Jay Shah paid a visit to the NFL headquarters. It was a meeting of giant leagues. The BCCI went on to post a lovely montage of Shah’s interaction with the NFL commissioner. The BCCI also claimed that important discussions about best practices and promoting fan engagement and experience was held.
