Top five Punjab Kings captains
Yuvraj Singh
Yuvraj Singh was the inaugural captain for the Punjab franchise in the 2008 season, where they reached the semi-finals. He continued to lead the team in the subsequent 2008 and 2009 seasons. However, he relinquished the captaincy in 2009. During his tenure, Punjab participated in 29 matches, winning 17 and losing 12. Yuvraj himself featured in 51 games for the team, accumulating 959 runs.
Adam Gilchrist
Adam Gilchrist served as the captain of the Punjab Kings from 2011 to 2013, leading the team in a total of 34 matches. Under his leadership, the team achieved a balanced record, winning 17 matches and losing 17, with no ties or no-results.
George Bailey
George Bailey led the team in the 2014 and 2015 seasons, respectively, guiding them to the final of the 2014 season. Across his captaincy tenure spanning 35 games, the team secured victory in 18 matches while facing defeat in 17. Bailey himself featured in 35 games as captain, accumulating 581 runs at an impressive strike rate of 132.95.
Mayank Agarwal
