Ayush Badoni and Mohsin Khan are set to be LSG’s uncapped player for the upcoming IPL 2025.
IPL 2025: Ayush Badoni has been impressive in touch lately in the T20 format. The youngster was adjudged player of the match in the recently played India vs Oman Emerging Cup match. The right-handed batter completed a fine fifty with the bat which included six fours and two maximums. With Mayank Yadav already making his debut for team India, Lucknow Super Giants are likely to retain Ayush Badoni as their uncapped player for IPL 2025.
Apart from his recent antics in the Delhi Premier League and Emerging Asia Cup, Ayush Badoni has became the saviour for the LSG on many occasions. He notched up two fifties in the IPL 2024 and those came when the top order collapsed and the scorecard read, 66/4 and 77/5 respectively.
Moreover, captaining South Delhi Superstarz in the Delhi Premier League (DPL), he batted at a strike rate of over 200 in the whole league. The reason for Rahul holding the middle-order reigns was to give stability, Badoni can provide stability and pace for LSG as uncapped retention.
IPL 2025: LSG probable retained players list
As per a report from The Times of India LSG are set to retain Nicholas Pooran, Mayank Yadav and Ravi Bishnoi. With fast bowling sensation Mayank Yadav already making his India debut in the T20I series vs Bangladesh, he will have to be retained as an uncapped player. They consider Mayank as their find, and hence are not willing to let go of him. It might also not be a surprise if he is retained ahead of Bishnoi.
The report by TOI has also confirmed that Mohsin Khan and Ayush Badoni are set to be the uncapped players for LSG in the upcoming edition of the IPL to be played next year.
