IPL Points Table 2024, Team Rankings: The Lucknow Super Giants registered their sixth win of the season, beating the Mumbai Indians by four wickets at the Ekana International Stadium on Tuesday.
With the win, LSG are now third in the points table, and have overtaken Chennai Super Kings in the points tally. While CSK also have 10 points to their name, Ruturaj Gaikwad and Co have a weaker net run rate with a game in hand.
Mumbai Indians on the other hand remain stuck at the ninth spot with only three wins from 10 games.
Also among the top four are the Kolkata Knight Riders, who sit second with six wins from nine games. Rajasthan Royals lead the chart with 16 points from nine matches while Royal Challengers Bengaluru are at the bottom of the 10-team points table with six points. Punjab and Gujarat are in the 7th and 8th position after their respective matches.

The playoff scenario
RR, KKR, LSG and CSK are the four sides that are currently in the top four. The top four teams will qualify for the IPL 2024 playoffs. The top two teams will play in the first Qualifier with the winner going straight into the final. The Eliminator will be played between the teams who are placed third and fourth in the IPL 2024 standings. The winner of the Eliminator will lock horns against the losing team of Qualifier 1. The winner of the Qualifier 2 will enter the final, which will be held at May 26.
