IPL Points Table 2024, Team Rankings:Â The Kolkata Knight Riders registered a sixth win in their ninth outing of the 2024 Indian Premier League season by beating the Delhi Capitals by seven wickets at Eden Gardens on Monday.
The Delhi Capitals on the other hand, remained sixth after their sixth loss of the season from 11 matches.
Also among the top-four are the Chennai Super Kings – third with 10 points – and the Sunrisers Hyderabad – at fourth with as many.
Rajasthan Royals lead the chart with 16 points from nine matches while Royal Challengers Bengaluru are at the bottom of the 10-team points table with six points. Punjab and Gujarat are in the 7th and 8th position after their respective matches.

The playoff scenario
RR, KKR, CSK and SRH are the four sides that are currently in the top four. The top four teams will qualify for the IPL 2024 playoffs. The top two teams will play in the first Qualifier with the winner going straight into the final. The Eliminator will be played between the teams who are placed third and fourth in the IPL 2024 standings. The winner of the Eliminator will lock horns against the losing team of Qualifier 1. The winner of the Qualifier 2 will enter the final, which will be held at May 26.
