India vs Bangladesh, 2nd women’s T20I Live Score: After a convincing 44-run victory in the first match, Harmanpreet Kaur and Co will be looking for a better show with the bat and take a 2-0 lead in a five-match series being played at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium in Sylhet.
The margin of win was big enough for a T20I, but India’s batting effort was underwhelming in the second half. From 100/2 in 12.2 overs, the next 46 balls brought just 45 runs. It’s been a problem area for a while, as they struggled to accelerate. Harmanpreet admitted post match that it was an issue to be addressed. With the ball, however, India were clinical throughout as they restricted Bangladesh, with Renuka Singh Thakur picking up three wickets.
For Bangladesh, barring captain Nigar Sultana, none of the batters could put up a fight in the run-chase of 146. Sultana’s 51, the top-scorer among both teams, wasn’t enough as Bangladesh mustered only 101 for 8 in 20 overs.

For a premium bowling asset, three wickets in two seasons is not a worthwhile contribution. But, as she tends to do when wearing India colours, the Powerplay strike bowler reappeared on Sunday in Sylhet as she picked up three wickets in India’s 44-run win over Bangladesh to take a 1-0 lead in the five-match T20I series.
