After winning 6 medals at the Paris Olympics 2024, the Indian Paralympic contingent is now all set to represent the nation at the Paris Paralympics.
India will send its largest-ever Paralympic team to Paris. A total of 84 athletes will represent the country, a significant increase from the 54 who competed in Tokyo and the 19 who participated in Rio. The team was originally planned to have 87 athletes, but the final number is 84. This historic team aims to surpass the medal count of previous Paralympics, where India won 4 medals in Rio and 19 in Tokyo.
