India won their second medal on Tuesday, as Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh shot superbly to beat Korea for bronze. But on Day 5, it is tough that India might add to that. The only medal event is in Trap shooting for women and after Day 1, Indian shooters are not too highly placed there. However, there are some huge contests in boxing, archery and mainly, badminton.

50m Rifle 3-Position Men Qualification: 12.30 pm IST

It’s time for shooting’s version of the marathon to commence as the 3-position contenders enter the fray. It’s only the qualification event on Wednesday Tomar, Kusale would look for that top 8 spot.

A massive test awaits Lakshya Sen as his future at these Games will be determined by a straight shootout against Indonesian superstar Jonatan Christie. Winner takes all for a spot in knockouts. Sindhu & Prannoy face relatively easy tests to assure their spot.

Balraj Panwar

After missing out on the medal semifinals, Balraj will aim to finish as high as possible in the classification semifinals. This race only matters for where he will finish in the overall standings, not for podium.
