IND vs ENG 1st ODI: Rohit Sharma & Co receives rousing reception in Nagpur

With the IND vs ENG T20I series done and dusted, the focus now shifts to the ODI series. The India Cricket Team led by captain Rohit Sharma arrived in Nagpur for the 1st ODI match against the Three Lions. Indian stars like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli received huge welcomes from fans.

The focus now shifts to the ICC Champions Trophy as the IND vs ENG ODI series will serve as a preparatory series. The Men in Blue will play a 3-match series before traveling to Dubai for the ICC tournament.

Rohit & Co receives mega welcome in Nagpur

The Indian stars were met with a rousing reception in Nagpur. Star players like Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant, Shreyas Iyer, and others joined Rohit Sharma as the Indian side traveled to Nagpur to play the first ODI match of the series set to take place on 6th February.

The team is more or less set for the tournament. However, for this ODI series, there is only one change – i.e. Harshit Rana is in for Jasprit Bumrah. The latter continues to recover from his back stress and won’t be a part of the series against the Three Lions. Team India will be hopeful for Bumrah’s return for the mega tournament.
