India vs Australia, IND vs AUS 2nd Test Adelaide Oval Stadium Pitch Report And Adelaide Weather Forecast: The opening day of the second Test match played between Australia and India at the Adelaide Oval is likely to be interrupted by showers and thunderstorm.

“Friday looks like it could be thunderstorms,” Adelaide Oval curator Damian Hough was quoted by Fox Cricket.
“I’m not sure exactly on the timing of those storms coming through, but we’re expecting to pull covers on Friday.
“Hopefully, it clears out on Saturday morning, then it should be good for the remainder of the Test.”

Last time, India played a pink-ball test at the same venue and the Virat Kohli-led team registered lowest total in Test history, an ignominious 36 all out.
Adelaide Oval curator Hough said the pitch will have spice this time around as well.
“On the morning of day three, no one would have expected that Test match to finish in three days,” Hough said.
“That was just really good bowling from Australia … I don’t think the pitch played a part in that.
“Our job is to get that balance right and try to get a really good, even contest.
“Both teams have, like, elite bowlers, world-class bowlers. I mean, we’ve seen enough day-nighters to know that if you get the new rock under lights with two new batters in, that it can be very tricky.”
