Ronaldo is also hugely popular on other social platforms with 112.5 million followers on the X, 170 million on Facebook, and 636 million on Instagram.
Football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has created a new world record by launching his own YouTube channel. The YouTube channel is named “UR · Cristiano” and was launched on August 21. It attracted more than a million subscribers in just the first 90 minutes – this is a record for the fastest a new YouTube channel has reached a million subscribers.
It was an immediate hit as within 90 minutes, the Al Nassr forward had broken the world record for becoming the fastest channel to hit one million subscribers. He now has 15.4m and counting.
Cristiano Ronaldo surpasses Lionel Messi
While Ronaldo quickly surpassed the eight-time Ballon d’Or winner and Argentina captain Lionel Messi’s subscriber count of 2.31m, he still has a long way to reach Mr. Beast, the top-subscribed YouTuber on the platform with 331m.
“I have always enjoyed having such a strong relationship with fans on social media, and my YouTube channel will give me an even bigger platform to do so and they will learn more about me, my family, and my views on many different subjects,” Ronaldo said in the YouTube channel’s launch announcement.
Ronaldo is also hugely popular on other social platforms with 112.5 million followers on the X (formerly Twitter), 170 million on Facebook, and 636 million on Instagram.
