Honey Singh has now opened up about how it also affected his

life. In an interview with Lallantop, he revealed that a few ‘big names’, who are ‘very influential names’ introduced him the drugs. He also spoke about how it gradually turned into addiction. He stated that he relied on
drugs
before going to bed and after waking up. He recalled that during that grim period in life, he was ‘always high’ and wasn’t conscious about what he was doing, or saying.

The rapper also spoke about how his drug addiction strained his relationship with his ex-wife Shalini Talwar. He mentioned that their relationship was strong initially, and they enjoyed a good time during the first 9-10 months of their 2011 marriage. However, he noted that over time, distance grew between them, and he began to neglect his family as success and fame went to his head. He stated that he left his family including his mom, dad, gudiya, and Shalini all alone. He confessed that he forgot about them. “Bohot kharab kiya (I did them wrong),” he expressed.
