Farhan Akhtar
and his ex-wife Adhuna have been separated since 2017. In an interview with Hindustan Times he shared that breaking the news to his daughters was not easy.
In a report with he further shared that his kids were not dumb and stupid to know what was going on.

and Adhuna tied the knot in 2000 and remained married until 2017 and have two daughters named
Shakya
and Akira.
Announcing their divorce, Farhan and Adhuna wrote that their decision was mutual and amicable. “Adhuna and Farhan, have mutually and amicably decided to separate. Our children remain our priority and it is immensely important to us, as responsible parents, that they be protected from unwarranted speculation and public glare. We sincerely request that we are given the privacy that is required at this time to move forward in a dignified manner”.
Farhan is now married to his long time girlfriend
Shibani Dandekar
who tied the knot to him in 2022.
He recently stated that in order to make a sequel of the super hit Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara “I will give my left arm to do it” suggesting that this film may get into production in the future if everything goes right.
