Sakal Ban
,’ the question focused on how delightful it was to see her dance to that song. It was the entry song for her character Lajjo. As her character returns and witnesses the celebration, she joins in. Initially, none of them planned to dance in the song shoot, but with Bhansali, spontaneity is common. The choreography wasn’t very complex; it focused more on the mood and the blossoming of youth.
Despite being trained in kathak, she hadn’t had a chance to showcase her dancing skills in a film before. It’s amusing because seeing Bholi Punjaban suddenly break into dance is unexpected. She firmly believes that dancing adds rhythm to performance and teaches more about rhythm even while delivering dialogues. This experience was enjoyable for her, and she expressed a desire to explore more such opportunities in the future.
