Star India cricket team all-rounder Hardik Pandya will reportedly skip the upcoming ODI series against Sri Lanka. As per reports, Pandya has informed the BCCI that he will miss the series owing to personal reasons. The all-rounder was a part of the T20 World Cup winning Indian side and played a crucial role for the team throughout the tournament.
As per Indian Express, Hardik’s fitness is one of the reasons why he might miss the series vs Sri Lanka.
“It is a delicate matter. There is an argument on both sides of the debate and thus everyone is not on the same page. Hardik’s fitness is an issue but he played a big role in breaking India’s ICC jinx,” said a BCCI source involved in decision-making.
There has been a lot of speculation around Hardik Pandya’s marriage ever since IPL 2024. While his wife Natasa Stankovic has not been spotted with him for the last three months, the all-rounder has chosen to remain silent over the matter. Further, his wife was not a part of the massive roadshow in Vadodara where HP received a hero’s welcome from a crowd of over 3 lakh people.
