Shakti released a video of his daughter Shraddha Kapoor dancing to one of the movie’s hit songs, ‘Show Me The Thumka’, back when she was busy promoting her movie ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’.
Shraddha can be heard saying, “Bapu, thumka laga rahe ho,” in this selfie video that she took when Shakti was already dancing to the song. “Beta thumka lagaya nahi maara jaata hai,” the birthday boy was heard saying in response to Shraddha. Following this, the father and daughter duo could be heard screaming “
Maaro Thumka
” at the top of their voices.
For the unversed, Shakti Kapoor made his debut in Bollywood with the movie ‘Khel Khilari Ka’ starring Dharmendra and Hema Malini in 1977. The actor has worked in some of the most successful films of all time including Qurbani (1980), Rocky (1981), Satte Pe Satta (1982), Himmatwala (1983), Tohfa (1984), ChaalBaaz (1989), Raja Babu (1994), Andaz Apna Apna (1994), Judwaa (1997) and Coolie No. 1 (1995) among others.
On January 12, 1982, Shakti Kapoor got married to Shivangi Kapoor, who happens to be the elder sister of actresses Padmini Kolhapure and Tejaswini Kolhapure. The couple has two kids together, a son named Siddhanth Kapoor and a daughter Shraddha. While Siddhanth is also an actor who is finding his foot in the industry, Shraddha is already a well-known face in the industry.
