HYDERABAD: Telangana industries and IT Minister Duddilla
Sridhar Babu
on Wednesday sought Union Minister and Secunderabad Member of Parliament G Kishan Reddy’s intervention in getting a
vaccine testing centre
to Genome Valley in Hyderabad.
Speaking at the valedictory of the 22nd edition of BioAsia 2025, Sridhar Babu said: “Currently, every batch of vaccines made by our companies here has to go all the way to Kasauli in Himachal Pradesh for testing, which consumes a lot of time and resources.”
“Post-Covid, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that a
vaccine testing
centre will be given to Hyderabad, so I have urged Union Minister Kishan Reddy to speak to the concerned officials and see that it is sanctioned for Genome Valley in Hyderabad,” Sridhar Babu said.
