Players can celebrate Star Wars in Fortnite with the new “Choose Your Side” Twitch extension! Starting today until May 14th, 2024, you can earn incredible rewards just by watching participating Fortnite streamers. Check out the detailed information below:
- Link Accounts: Connect your Twitch and Epic Games accounts to unlock the Growling Chewbacca Emoticon immediately.
- Watch and Click: Keep an eye on participating Fortnite streams. When Fortnite items appear, click them quickly – they disappear fast!
- Complete the Collection: Snag all the items to earn the exclusive “Galaxies Collide” Loading Screen!

When a streamer’s community collects enough items, they can unleash a “Takeover” on another channel! That channel will overflow with Fortnite items to click. To stop the Takeover, the community needs to spam the :[ChewyYaY]: Twitch emote.
Find Fortnite streamers with the “Choose Your Side” extension enabled (look for the ‘F’ icon below the stream). Check the Leaderboard tab for your collection progress and to compete with other viewers across channels.
Important Notes:
- Rewards might take up to 30 days to appear in your Fortnite account.
- The Loading Screen and Emoticon might become available in the Fortnite Shop later.
- Linking your accounts can take around 60 minutes to process.
