Prime Minister Narendra Modi spent his 74th birthday in Odisha and also marked the completion of 100 days of NDA 3.0 government while launching the Subhadra scheme for welfare of women along with a slew of other projects in the BJP-ruled state.

He underlined that youth, women, poor and farmers have been central to his dispensation’s policies.

In his address to the beneficiaries of the PM Awas Yojana and the schemes aimed at women, Modi said pucca houses have been handed over to more than 30 lakh families across the country from Odisha. Of these, 26 lakh houses have been handed over in rural and 4 lakh in urban areas. He also laid the foundation stone and inaugurated multiple development projects worth thousands of crores in the state.

Expressing confidence that the aspiration of villagers, downtrodden, Dalits, adivasis, women, youth, and middle-class families will now be fulfilled as a “double-engine” government is in place, Modi said rapid progress has been made in the last few months.
