Indian film delegation
visiting Israel, led by producer-actor Rahul Mittra.
The iconic song, originally picturized on Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol in the picturesque mustard fields of Punjab, was a touching tribute to the enduring popularity of Indian cinema in Israel. Rahul Mittra shared the moment on Instagram, expressing his delight, “It was wonderful savouring sumptuous Israeli delicacies & bonding with famous Israeli film actor and one of my favourite characters from popular Netflix web series #Fauda, Tsahi Halevi !! #IndiaIsrael 🇮🇳 🇮🇱”
The six-day visit, arranged by the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, aims to deepen cultural cooperation between the two nations. The Indian delegation includes filmmaker-actor Rahul Mittra, Nitin Tej Ahuja (CEO of the Producers Guild of India), and other industry leaders in VFX, cinema exhibition, and more. The delegation is engaging with Israeli filmmakers, actors, and media professionals while exploring filming locations in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and Haifa.

Nurit Tinari, Head of Bureau for Cultural Diplomacy in Israel, said, “This is a landmark step in the direction of people-to-people connection between Israel and India. Indian cinema enjoys popularity in Israel, while Israeli series like Fauda have also gained a dedicated fan following in India. As we celebrate this milestone, we look forward to both are ancient civilisations coming closer which will further strengthen our friendship.”
