'Fateh' box office collection day 4: Sonu Sood’s action drama sees a major drop, fails to make even Rs.1 crore while Ram Charan’s ‘Game Changer’ takes the lead

Sonu Sood is a star who made headlines in the Hindi and South film industries with his versatile acting. He opened this year with his directorial debut, Fateh, an action drama packed with high-octane sequences. Though it was one of Sonu Sood’s highly anticipated movies, and the actor made sure not to leave any stone unturned for its promotion, the movie could not live up to the hype.
Despite the discounted ticket price of Rs99 crore, the theatres didn’t see a great footfall. On its opening day, the movie was only Rs 2.4 crores, according to Sacnilk report. Though the business made was higher than what trade experts predicted, was not an impressive number. The following weekend, on Saturday the movie made Rs 2.1 crore, and on Sunday it was Rs2.25 crore. However, on its Monday, the movie again saw a major dip, as it failed to even cross the Rs. 1 crore mark. On day 4, Sonu Sood’s ‘Fateh’ only collected Rs 85 lakhs, according to the early estimates shared by Sacnilk.
Sonu headlines the movie, which also starsalso stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Naseeruddin Shah, Vijay Raaz, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, . However, the film has not been able to keep the cash registers ringing. Its total collection is Rs.7.60 crore so far.
If we talk about the review of the movie, then ETimes gave 3.5 stars to the action drama. Our review reads – “Sonu Sood’s directorial debut delves deep into the pervasive threat of cybercrime, a modern plague wreaking havoc in India. With mobile phones doubling as vulnerabilities, the film explores how greed and desperation make people easy targets for malicious digital predators. The narrative begins with Fateh’s quiet life in rural Punjab but quickly takes a dramatic turn when a harrowing incident sets him on a mission to dismantle a cyber crime mafia. The film dives into action from the start, taking viewers on a gritty, blood-soaked journey. While the fast pace keeps the audience engaged, the backstory of the lead characters lacks the depth needed to forge a strong emotional connection, making the writing feel somewhat shallow and exaggerated at times.”

Also, it is worth noting that the movie also faces tough competition from Ram Charan and Kiara Advani starrer ‘

Game Changer

.’ The political drama is inching towards a Rs.100 crore mark in just 4 days. On Monday, according to the early estimates the movie made a business of Rs.8.50 crore, which is almost half of its Sunday’s collection, yet has filmed the film in minting Rs.97 crore so far.
