, Meenakshi hit back at her trolls with dignity.
She said, “I can never be

and she can never be me.
If people say, why don’t you work on your hair and skin more, or get botox, face-lift, main buran nahi manti. When people say mean things like you look like a ghost or a demon or old, why did she leave her family, all this is not about me. It says a lot about their mindset. I distance myself from these kinds of people. If someone else’s opinion becomes meaningful to me and I start judging myself then it’s a problem. I have a very high self-opinion. I also feel people are judgemental of women because they have higher expectations from us. People think we wake up beautiful. What I like is today there are better written parts for women who are over the age of 30. The mentality shift is happening even in the audience.”
