Yes, you read it right! it was revealed that hundreds of workers spent nearly 10 months meticulously recreating Lahore from bygone eras under Bhansali’s visionary guidance. This dedicated effort is evident in the series, presenting viewers with a visually breathtaking depiction of the Diamond Bazaar.
According to a report, conceived as a 14-page concept by Bhansali’s friend, Moin Beg, two decades ago, ‘Heeramandi’ underwent significant evolution before its digital premiere. Bhansali’s choice to adapt the concept into a series format facilitated a more profound dive into characters and narratives, enhancing the storyline and vividly bringing the world of Heeramandi to life.
It has begun streaming from May 1 onwards.
