The District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee meeting was held here on Saturday in which District Collector A. K. Kamal Kishore and MP Rani Srikumar participated.
The meeting reviewed the progress of various development schemes being implemented in the district with Central Government funding. The projects taken-up under the Central Government schemes and the new schemes to be introduced in the district were discussed.
Ms. Rani appealed to the officials to expedite and complete the ongoing development projects before the deadline.
District Forest Officer Akhil Thampi, Project Director, District Rural Development Agency, Michael Antony Fernando and senior officials of various government departments participated in the review meeting.
