Delhi schools bomb threat news: The ministry of home affairs on Wednesday assured that there’s no need to panic as the bomb threat targeting schools in the NCR appears to be a hoax call, with police and security agencies taking necessary measures.
“There is no need to panic. It appears to be a hoax call. Delhi Police and security agencies are taking necessary steps as per protocol,” MHA said in a statement.

Delhi schools bomb threat news: What we know so far?
1. Multiple schools in Delhi-NCR received bomb threat emails on Wednesday morning.
2. Bomb detection units, disposal teams, and Delhi Fire Service personnel conducted search operations at affected schools.
3. Schools targeted include Mother Mary’s in Mayur Vihar, Amity in Saket and Pushp Vihar, DPS campuses, and Sanskriti.

4. Initial investigations show a similar pattern of threatening emails sent to various locations since yesterday, indicating a coordinated effort.
5. Schools have closed as a precaution, sending students home immediately.
6. Special commissioner of police RP Upadhyay termed the bomb threat emails as a “terror threat” and stated that the counterintelligence unit is investigating the matter.
7. Delhi fire services chief Atul Garg reported receiving distress calls from about 60 schools regarding bomb threats.
8. Union home ministry assured there is no need to panic, as it appears to be a hoax call, and security agencies are following protocol.
9. The Delhi lieutenant governor directed the police commissioner to provide a comprehensive report and ensure thorough searches to identify perpetrators and prevent security lapses.
