Caribbean Premier League 2024: Newbies Antigua and Barbuda Falcons will lock horns with 2021 champions St Kitts and Nevis Patriots in the 2024 season opener of the Caribbean Premier League. The Falcons will be debuting in the league replacing the Jamaica Tallawahs due to the latter franchise’s owner selling it back to the CPL.
The Falcons are led by Imad Wasim and have the likes of Brandon King, Sam Billings, and Mohammad Amir in their ranks. While their bowling may be their strong suit with Amir and Chris Green capable of troubling batters, their batting lineup is nothing to sneeze at with King and Fakhar Zaman leading the line.
The Patriots, meanwhile, have a strong batting lineup with the likes of Kyle Mayers, Evin Lewis and Rilee Rossouw among their star players. With allrounders like Sikandar Raza and Sherfane Rutherford as well as the experienced Anrich Nortje leading their bowling lineup, the sky is the limit for this franchise.
