KRAFTON India and Devsisters today revealed CookieRun India, a casual runner mobile game, at an event in New Delhi. The game has recorded 1 million pre-registrations and will be available for download for Android and iOS users starting December 11, 2024.
Krafton India is set to launch CookieRun India
CookieRun India is specially crafted for Indian audiences, combining the fun of the globally popular CookieRun series with a localized and culturally rich experience. The game introduces unique elements, including cookie characters inspired by popular Indian sweets like Gulab Jamun and Kaju Katli, along with localized in-game events, creating an immersive experience for gamers.
At the launch event, Minu Lee, Head of Publishing at KRAFTON India, addressed the gathering and outlined the vision for CookieRun India, the collaboration with Devsisters and KRAFTON India’s plans for 2025.
“We’re beyond excited to bring CookieRun India to life in collaboration with Devsisters and are thrilled by the incredible response it has received so far. This game perfectly blends casual fun with Indian elements, uniquely tailored for Indian players, offering them a fresh take on the beloved series.” said Minu Lee, Head of Publishing at KRAFTON India, “2024 has been remarkable for us at KRAFTON India, and we aim to build on this momentum by introducing 3-4 new game titles in the country in 2025.
