Bilaspur

is one of the Lok Sabha constituencies in Chhattisgarh state in central India which covers Kota, Lormi, Mungeli (SC), Takhatpur, Bilha, Bilaspur, Beltara, and Masturi (SC).
Candidates
This year from the Bilaspur constituency,

Tokhan Sahu

(BJP) and

Devender Singh Yadav

(

Congress

candidate) are standing against each other. Gondwana Gantantra Party (GGP) also released its list and gave a ticket to Nandkishore Raj.

Lok Sabha 2019 election result

In 2019, Bilaspur constituency had 1,876,953 electors and 1,209,434 valid votes. Bharatiya Janata Party’s Arun Sao emerged victorious with 634,559 votes, defeating Indian National Congress’ Atal Shrivastav by 141,763 votes. In 2014, with 1,729,229 electors and 1,090,457 valid votes, BJP’s Lakhan Lal Sahu won with 561,387 votes, surpassing Indian National Congress’ Karuna Shukla by 176,436 votes.
Voting date and result
The Bilaspur Lok Sabha constituency is scheduled to vote on 7th May 2024, with the Election Commission announcing results on 4th June, as per their statement on March 16.
