New Delhi: BJP‘s leader of the opposition in the J&K assembly, Sunil Sharma, on Wednesday accused the National Conference (NC) of being responsible for the migration of Kashmiri Pandits and targeted attacks like the one in Kulgam in which a former Territorial army man was killed.
Sharma, along with J&K BJP chief Sat Sharma and former chief Ravinder Raina, visited the residence of Manzoor Ahmad Wagay, who was killed on February 3 near his house in Behibagh village of Kulgam district in southern Kashmir. His wife and niece were injured in the attack.
“National Conference itself is responsible for such a situation here right from 1931 (when the party was formed) to the 1989 exodus of Kashmiri Pandits and whatever is happening now. They are responsible for everything,” Sharma told reporters in Srinagar.
Sharma said it was clear to all that the militancy has been hammered after the abrogation of Article 370 and separatism has been buried.
