Officials of the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on Monday raided aluminium castings factory Ibex Engineering Pvt. Ltd. situated on Kanakapura road and sealed it for allegedly running illegally for two years.
The BIS had given them two years to apply and acquire licence until December 1 , 2024, to get the required licence for the quality control order, but the company failed to comply.
Based on the finding, a team of officials raided the factory and seized approximately 5,000 products. The owner of the company identified as Shrikanth G.P. and the administration staff have been issued notices to appear before the officials for questioning.
