NEW DELHI: The Election for Bhiwandi Lok Sabha constituency in Maharashtra, which is one of the 48 Lok Sabha constituencies in the state, is indeed scheduled to be held this year. The final date of voting and result was formally announced by the Election Commission of India on March 16th.

In the Lok Sabha elections 2019, Kapil Moreshwar Patil of the BJP emerged as the winning candidate from the Bhiwandi Lok Sabha constituency, securing 523,583 votes. Taware Suresh Kashinath of the INC received 367,254 votes. Kapil Moreshwar Patil won with a margin of 156,329 votes.
In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, Kapil Moreshwar Patil of the BJP emerged as the winning candidate from the Bhiwandi Lok Sabha constituency, securing 411,070 votes. Patil Vishwanath Ramchandra of the INC received 301,620 votes. Bhiwandi parliamentary constituency had a total of 1,696,584 registered electors in 2014.
