The Supreme Court, on Friday 13th, granted bail to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in connection with the CBI FIR in the Delhi liquor policy case. A bench of Justices Surya Kant and Ujjal Bhuyan heard the matter and reserved a verdict on September 5. Both judges delivered separate judgments. Justice Kant held that the arrest of Kejriwal was legal and did not suffer from any procedural irregularity. At the same time, both judges were unanimous in the decision to grant bail to Kejriwal.
