has finally discussed her brother,
Krushna Abhishek
’s estranged
relationship
with ‘mama’ Govinda. In a recent interview, Arti said that she was never involved in their fight and expressed her happiness that the Bollywood actor had attended her
wedding
earlier this year. She said that
Govinda
has always taken good care of her and that he loves her very much.
During a conversation with Paras Chhabra on his podcast, Arti said, “I was the happiest that my Mama came. He came for a short time, but he came. For me, his coming was a big thing. Because after a long time, we all met. As soon as I saw him, I was very happy. I never had anything with him. You know me. I love him a lot. And I always used to tell everyone that… I mean, he has taken a lot of care of me. And he has loved me a lot. He has given me so much love. So, I was never involved in that. Whatever happened, I was never a part of it. But I am happy that he came for the
marriage
.”
The rift between Govinda and Krushna is known to all. The actor-comedian has not been on talking terms with his mama, Govinda for almost eight years now. When Govinda was called as a guest on ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ in the past, Krushna opted to skip the show.
However, Govinda attended Arti’s wedding to Dipak Chauhan in April of this year. Govinda stunned everyone by attending Arti’s wedding reception, despite everyone’s doubts, especially since he missed the TV star’s Mehendi, Sangeet, and Haldi rituals.
Later, Govinda also gave his blessings to the newlywed couple Arti and Dipak and told Instant Bollywood, “Ishvar se praarthana hai, jo kripa Arti par hui hai kisi prakaar ka vastu dosh na lage (I pray for her wellbeing and may god protect her from evil eyes).”
Krushna Abhishek also got emotional when he mentioned Govinda attending Arti’s wedding. “Maama aaye bahut khushi hui. I was so happy to see him. Wo dil ki baat hai. Humara emotional connect hai,” he said.
