Arjun Kapoor feels the most vulnerable around Anshula Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor: 'I don’t have mom, there was a void, and now I have sisters'

Arjun Kapoor, who is known for his candid approach to mental health, recently shared heartfelt insights into his relationship with his sisters –

– during an appearance on Raj Shamani’s podcast. The actor revealed that he feels the most vulnerable around his siblings and that their bond has provided a sense of solace and connection, especially after the loss of their mother, Sridevi.
Reflecting on his family dynamics, Arjun said, “I think I am the most vulnerable with my sisters, which is a good thing. Because when I got connected with Janhvi and Khushi, the circumstances that were there, there was nothing left. We were at the lowest in terms of… Me and

had experienced something, then Janhvi and Khushi were going through something that we wouldn’t wish for our worst enemies and it happened in our house. So we started with being vulnerable.”
Arjun and Anshula are the children of Boney Kapoor and his first wife, Mona Kapoor. After their parents’ divorce in 1996, Arjun and Anshula became estranged from their father, who married Sridevi and welcomed daughters Janhvi and Khushi. Tragedy struck the family in 2012 when Mona passed away after battling cancer, followed by Sridevi’s untimely demise in 2018.
Following these heartbreaking events, Arjun and Anshula stepped in to support their father and half-sisters, forging a new relationship that began in vulnerability and has since evolved into a deep emotional connection.

For Arjun, his sisters have become a source of strength and a way to navigate the absence of his late mother. “Because I don’t have mom, there was a void, and now I have sisters,” Arjun shared. “I have been able to also allow myself to fill that void with these kinds of emotions and relationships. Maybe I don’t have the happiness of having mom around, but I have amazing women in my life that allow me to be vulnerable because a kid is the most vulnerable in front of their mom.”

He added that his sisters, particularly Janhvi and Anshula, provide an emotional outlet for him. “I have spoken about such things with Janhvi that I never even confessed to my own self. And she is wise also, so she understands. I share everything with Anshula. When I don’t say something, she comes and sits with me, and I just naturally start speaking. I am very blessed that my sisters have allowed me to be open.”

Arjun Kapoor was recently seen in Singham Again, adding another project to his filmography. Despite the highs and lows of his personal and professional life, Arjun’s openness about his vulnerabilities and the support system his sisters provide have made him an inspiring figure in Bollywood.
