Actor and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut was hit in the face and abused by a woman

CISF constable

during security check at the Chandigarh airport on Thursday. The constable was upset with Kangana over her controversial statements on the farmer protests, stating that her mother was one of the protesters.
Bollywood celebrities including

Ram Gopal Varma

, Mika Singh, Vishal Dadlani,

Shekhar Suman

and his son

Adhyayan Suman

have condemned this assault on Kangana.

And now,

Anupam Kher

, his son

Sikander Kher

and

Aman Verma

have shared their reactions on the incident.
“I am very saddened that a woman took advantage of her position and did such a thing. This is absolutely wrong. This is an illegal act. I am not saying that her anger can be justified. But she should not take advantage of her position,”

Anupam

said at a recent event.
His son Sikander expressed similar views and said, “I don’t think anybody should be raising their hand on anybody. I don’t raise my hand on anybody. Say whatever you want to say in life. What I have heard… I wasn’t there, but I am still studying. Raising your hand… Violence is not the answer to anything. That’s the only thing I can say.”

Vishal Dadlani pledges job to CISF officer amid Kangana Ranaut slap allegations: ‘I will ensure that she has a job…’

Aman Verma said, “What has happened should not happen. But the CISF lady officers… What is their personal thinking? How are they connected? They have their own minds. I don’t want to say anything about them. But it’s unfortunate that such incidents should not happen.”

Meanwhile, Sher Singh Mahiwal, a relative of CISF constable Kulwinder Kaur, defended her actions. According to him, the argument began when Kaur asked Kangana Ranaut to place her purse and phone on the conveyor belt for scanning. He attributed Kaur’s reaction to Kangana’s previous comments about farmers, which had offended many, including Kaur.
The constable has been suspended and an FIR has been lodged against her.
